A while back, The Hustler was on AMC or something, but I didn't want to watch it then because it was about half over. I put it in our Netflix queue, and guess what showed up in our mailbox today?

The kids and I watched "Cars" today in his honor. (I'm saving "Cool Hand Luke" for when they're a little older.)
Yeah, he's gone. And meanwhile Mickey Rooney still walks the Earth.
Remember when Mateo first hit the scene, and they were comparing him to a young Paul Newman? Well a couple of "Operation Dumbo Drops" and "Surfer Dudes" later, and they're really not saying that much anymore.
Mr. Newman was one class act, for sure. And when I see photos of he and Joanne Woodward together, they break my heart with their lovliness.
