I love this picture. When I was a little kid, and had trouble falling asleep due to "scary thoughts," I would imaginea a little old lady, in a hat, sitting in a field of flowers. Who knew I was channeling Lady Bird!
I've told my girls how Lady Bird made Texas a more beautiful place, and I've told them my trick for banishing scary thoughts - I'll have to show them this picture!
