About 25+ years ago, at the rehearsal dinner for one of my big cousins, my dad and I did an whole stand-up routine for a San Antonio news team (who had been hired to video the whole thing). We were quite funny, and more than a bit crude, which was why the cousin sent us over there. People were being WAY too tame on camera.
Then I walked into the house, and there was the groom's mom, sitting w/her best friend Lady Bird on the couch, watching via live feed. They both turned and looked at me, and I truly wanted the earth to swallow me whole. :-)
(My dad, on the other hand, poured them whiskies).
